Pictures to make you wish you were here,
and
text to make you glad you’re not 🙂

Hello! I’m a scientific glassblower with some time off work to fulfil a dream.
Join me as I cycle along the coast of Sweden and Finnland, squandering my inheritance for pockets full of memories and avoiding broken glass as I go 🙂
This journey of more than 1000 km* starts, not with the first step, or even with getting on the bike, as some people would probably say without thinking about it, but with a series of setbacks, a lot of re-planning and a sprinkling of self-sabotage.
This is true, not only for the journey as a whole, but also for each/many part/s of it.
Each day/stage** has it’s own category and page, one day there’ll [probably] be a page each for campsites and beaches and other interesting topics like toilets and artworks and wildlife.
One day.
Probably not today though. It’s surprisingly time-consuming just uploading the pictures in the right order..
You can start reading the latest post here: blog posts.
For those of you who like to read chronologically, or want to go directly to a specific day, the Itinery page has links which should beam you to [the first post from] each day. The arrows under the posts should guide you from there..
The very first post is here.
* Probably closer to 3000 km
** For me, days start when I wake up and end when I go to sleep (if I don’t sleep, then somewhere in the middle). That means that if I get to a campsite at 2am, it’s still part of the day before, even though it’s technically a new day..
